how long? 01:09
how long till the ocean rises? how long till the water fills my lungs? how long till i stop breathing? how long till i find out what's wrong? how long till the sun just burns out? how long till it's too hot in my house? how long till i start melting? how long till i figure it out? how long till the moon just falls down? how long till it's only dark out? how long till i can't see you? how long till i start to follow through? how long until it's too late? how long until it's too late? how long until it's too late?

well i fear that the end of the world is coming but i'm so young and i'm so beautiful and i've seen nothing but i've had you and that's enough to get me by so scared that i can't move i wouldn't mind if i died since when did i get like this? since when did i feel this bad? i remember i was so happy now i just get so sad and i'm sorry that it hurts you when you see me this way lie down with me close your eyes pray tomorrow's a better day don't leave
6.
i wake up in the morning to the sound of raindrops from the ceiling oh i, turn on the velvet underground close my eyes, and keep on dreaming i don;'t really think about what the world has in store for me so i can't find an excuse to sleep in or wake up early why not? won't you sit next to me? on the soft blue couch in the foyer and tell me about when you were young and how now you'd do anything to be away from here

about

when my grandparents moved out of their home last year, they gave me a marlboro mail-away jacket. i really like that jacket. this ep is a collection of songs written in 2023, with the exception of "a call for help" which i wrote in 2016. i'm grateful to be able to put these songs out; thank you so much for listening.
